The rotary tiller is used to prepare the soil after plowing. It breaks up the mud clods and also cuts up the straw and crop stubble buried under the surface of the ground, which facilitates the operation of the planter and provides a good seedbed for later planting. It can also be equipped with three row-opening plows at the rear to create two ridge beds simultaneously.
